A day in the life
As an Assistant Golf Operations Manager you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Golf department whilst managing a team and delivering support to your team members. You will be directly reporting to the Golf Operations Manager & have a passion for all things golf related!
Additionally, you will be strategically minded and ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with RACV's standards and procedures are delivered to the required standard.
You will have the ability to run Golf competitions, work in the retail department, develop relationships with the Torquay Golf committee & also try to improve the service delivery & find operational/financial efficiencies.
The position is a permanent full-time role. You’ll also be rostered on for either a Saturday OR Sunday to meet the peak and flow of business demands.

We are looking for
- Previous experience within the Golf industry
- Strong leadership and operational management experience
- Have used MiClub system (or similar)
- Previous retail experience
- Ability to build rapport
- Able to promote morale, encourage teamwork and lead my example
