Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club, is an invigorated member owned golf club, enjoying substantial growth as the leading Golf & Leisure Facility in Melbourne's West. Home to a globally renowned Greg Norman design Championship golf course and situated a short 20 minute drive to the CBD, we complement our assets by servicing our members, guests, visitors and corporate clients in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our practice facilities feature a 300m driving range, undercover synthetic bays, a short game practice chipping green and putting green. This is an exciting period in our club’s evolution as SLGC is on a journey to become a huge part of Golf in the west. The opportunity provides the successful applicant with a unique opportunity to shape the role, making it their own. As a member of the club's golf operations team, you will have direct influence on ensuring members’ and visitors have welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
• Ensure members and guests are serviced in a professional and friendly manner at all times
• General Pro shop management and equipment sales.
• Management of Golf Shop Retail
• Data Analytics (Retail)
• Competition management (MiClub Software).
• Assist with stock control, purchasing, receiving, storage of apparel
• Assist the Golf Operations Manager with running of corporate golf days
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities
• Strong golf retail background.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent personal presentation.
