Assistant Golf Course Equipment Mechanic White Clay Creek Country Club is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our Golf Course Maintenance Department as an Assistant Golf Course Equipment Mechanic. Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience This is a hands-on position working alongside our Equipment Mechanic and Golf Course Superintendent. You’ll help keep our golf course equipment, golf carts, and clubhouse facilities operating properly. What You'll Do: * Assist with maintenance and repairs of mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other golf course equipment * Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, greasing, filter changes, belt replacement, and blade sharpening * Assist with golf cart maintenance and repairs, including batteries, tires, brakes, and electrical systems * Help diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues * Assist with small clubhouse and building maintenance projects * Replace HVAC and building air filters * Help keep the equipment shop and work areas clean and organized * Assist with seasonal equipment preparation and other maintenance projects What We're Looking For: * Mechanical experience is preferred, but not required * Golf course equipment experience is a plus * Someone who enjoys working with their hands and is willing to learn * Dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work * Ability to use basic hand and power tools * Valid driver's license preferred * Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions The right person doesn't need to know everything coming in. We are looking for someone with good mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with professional golf course equipment and develop your mechanical skills.
