Job Description: **ASSISTANT MANAGER. 40h/sem. Golf del Sur (Tenerife)** At Santa Bárbara Golf and Ocean Club (Golf del Sur, Tenerife) a highly motivated, passionate and successful team is looking for a professional with great leadership and team management skills to join the Resort Manager in their daily tasks and act as duty manager whenever necessary. EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent in Tourism, BA RESPONSIBILITIES You will spend the majority of the time (50% or more) working on achieving organizational objectives set out by the company through coordination and improvements of the teams’ performance as well as solving problems in line with company guidelines. A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks, but primary duties are supervisory and/or goal related. You will analyze and resolve problems, determine work techniques, monitor regulatory compliance, maintain high morale, interpret policies and demonstrate solid knowledge of all aspects of the daily operations (F&B knowledge and experience are not required) In addition to the specific supervisory duties to support the Resort Manager, you will: - Monitor and review work by teams - Review time records, time off requests. - Investigate and resolve concerns and complaints - Provide assistance and support and maintain a positive and professional working environment - Perform all tasks necessary to achieve a ISO14001 certification - Follow guidelines as directed by the Resort Manager SKILLS and EXPERIENCE High level of Spanish and English is essential, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages will be positively valued.
