About the role
Seasoned casual/part-time position with regular shifts across the week and weekend at Gold Creek Country Club. You'll be the first face members and visitors see, running the counter, managing the tee sheet, and keeping the shop running smoothly on busy competition days. Key responsibilities
Greet members and visitors, manage bookings, and run the tee sheet using the POS system
Handle retail sales, EFTPOS and cash transactions, and keep the shop and displays presentable
Support competition days, including entries, scoring queries, and general event flow
Manage hire equipment and carts, including handover and end-of-shift checks
Keep the pro shop and surrounding areas clean, stocked, and ready for the next shift
Weekend availability is essential
Comfortable handling cash, card payments, and point-of-sale systems
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in providing good customer service
Reliable, presentable, and able to work independently once shown the ropes
Golf knowledge or experience is a bonus but not essential
Casual rates paid fortnightly, with regular shifts for the right person
Work in a beautiful golf club environment with a supportive team
Learn from experienced pro shop staff and build real hospitality/retail skills
Genuine opportunity to pick up more hours for the right, seasoned candidate
