Job Posting: Assistant Golf Coach/Player Development Coach

Facility and Job Description:

Raising Golfers Golf Academy is based primarily around junior golf development at Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course in beautiful Carlsbad, California. Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course has a great 18 hole Par 3 golf course and full grass and mat driving range. We are currently seeking an Assistant Coach to help with our growing golf programs. This person will work along side our other Assistant Coaches in conducting daily group classes and bi monthly 9-Hole golf outings. The program has grown quickly over the last year and currently has over 100 students enrolled who come weekly for classes. The realistic expectation of the individual who fills this role is to help grow the game of golf through a positive golf experience and growing the brand of Raising Golfers Golf Academy.

The ideal candidate for this position is a person who has played high school and/or College Golf who plays golf currently at a high level and has ambitions to coach golf as a career. You will have a positive mindset, a lot of energy and enthusiasm and great communication skills to connect well with the families of the Raising Golfers Golf Academy. You should be very open minded as well as creative for new ideas. Experience with marketing and managing player development programs is preferred.

Compensation:

Income sources will come from many sources conducting programs at Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course. These sources include but are not limited to:
  • Co-Coaching Mini Golfer and Operation 36 programs for juniors and adults (Must be the priority of the position with classes and bi monthly 9-Hole golf outing earnings).
  • Potential for sales commission in bringing in new customers to the program.
  • Creating, conducting, and managing PGA Junior League.
  • Other programs and coaching opportunities as available.
All Candidates are required to:
  • Take a background check
  • Conduct a safety Training
  • Complete CA Mandated Reporter Training
  • Provide 3-5 Professional References from previous management
All Candidates Must be:
  • Able to carry up to 50lbs
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
The candidate who fills the role will be a W-2 employee paid on an hourly basis.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
