Summary
Lewisburg Area High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our athletics program as an Assistant Varsity Golf Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the sport of golf, a commitment to student-athlete development, and the ability to foster a positive and competitive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing and implementing practice plans and training sessions that enhance the skills of student-athletes.
• Provide instruction and feedback on golf techniques, strategies, and sportsmanship.
• Help organize and supervise team practices, competitions, and other related activities.
• Support the head coach in managing team logistics, including scheduling, transportation, and communication with players and parents.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and commitment.
• Collaborate with other coaches and athletic staff to promote the overall success of the golf program and the school's athletics department.
• Uphold the values and mission of Lewisburg Area High School and its athletics program.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience in golf or a strong background as a player at the high school, collegiate, or professional level.
• Knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach, other coaching staff, and school administration.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass background checks as required by the school district.
