Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: At least three (3) years; previous experience that includes cooking, menu planning, and leadership of other employees; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists Food & Beverage Manager with interviewing, hiring, training and scheduling of food and beverage employees.
Assists Food & Beverage Manager with long range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly inventory.
Reviews, enforces, and recommends facility policies and procedures.
Serves as lead worker to personnel assigned to the area. Serves as manager on duty when manager is not present.
Assists with bi-weekly time keeping and reporting.
Provides customer service; responds to complaints or concerns.- Orders and receives all food products. Restocks restaurant and bar with product.
Plans daily menu and daily specials. Assists in establishment of appropriate pricing.
Prepares for and cooks daily menu, specials and banquets.- Sanitizes kitchen and ensures adherence to all health department requirements. Inspects condition and cleanliness of facilities and requests necessary maintenance, repairs, and/or cleaning.
Schedules use of clubhouse for special events or private rentals. Assists with set-up, planning and serving of special events.
Serves customers in dining area and tends bar.- Collects payments and prepares daily revenue reports. Makes daily cash and credit card deposits of revenue as prescribed by Town policy. Investigates errors in daily cash and credit card receipts.
- May perform occasional emergency repairs outside of scheduled hours.
- Stays abreast of current food and beverage developments and may attend annual food show.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge of principals and practices in food and beverage operations.
Knowledge of budgeting principles and practices.
Skill in leading and instructing others.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to utilize a variety of advisory data and information, such as Town and Parks and Recreation policies and procedures, vendor catalogs, and Town Personnel Guidelines.
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to calculate decimals and percentages; ability to utilize principles of fractions; ability to interpret graphs.
Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to problem resolution.
Ability to understand verbal information and instructions.
Ability to read and understand written material.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and coworkers.
Ability to maintain accurate and useful records.
- Moderate, though not constant physical effort, typically involving lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of four or more hours
- Frequent performance of activities requiring a full range of body movement including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching, crawling, and/or twisting
- Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate tools and electrical equipment as well as for driving equipment and vehicles
- Vision for reading, recording and interpreting information
- Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and citizens
- Kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, smoke, and grease
- This position may require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment
