Position Summary
Concordia University invites applicants to the position of Assistant Coach in the Athletics Department. The assistant coach's role is responsible for assisting in the following aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling, fund-raising, budget management, compliance with NAIA, and conference rules/regulations. This is a part-time position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Driving team vans to and from tournaments
- Attend 12 tournaments, in state and out of state
- Scheduling and coordinating team practice 2x a week in Ann Arbor, MI
- Participation in swing evaluation for those in need of support
- Support head coach in recruiting process as needed
- Engage with head coach and athletes regularly
- Tracking athlete statistics
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule
- Knowledge in the trends of the respective sport
- Available 10+ hours per week during Spring and Fall, including evenings and weekends
- Occasional overnight travel
- Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years coaching experience
- College coaching experience preferred
