Main Purpose of the Job:
To achieve the sales, margin, distribution and merchandising objectives in line with the company’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure area sales and margin category targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis through professional area sales management.
- Maintain high levels of hardware sales through Mizuno organised fitting events and regular training of our network of DNA Fitting Centres
- Establish a network of Brand Ambassadors to promote the full range of Mizuno golf products in store
- Actively expand the Mizuno account base to agreed levels
- Attend and represent the brand appropriately at exhibitions, as required.
- Merchandise the brand prominently in accounts on the area to maximise brand awareness and sell through.
- Ensure accounts retrievable are kept within company expectations of payment.
- Be mindful of company profitability at all times.
- In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the job holder may be required to carry out other tasks assigned by the manager.
Please note this role is covering all areas across Scotland.
Key Skills
- Professional question-based approach to sales and prospecting.
- Good Custom Fitting experience using launch monitors
- Exceptional account management skills, to include quarterly reviews and tracking of agreed category targets
- An interest in Golf preferred, not essential
- Product knowledge of the Mizuno golf range preferred, not essential
- Good knowledge of competitors’ product ranges preferred, not essential
- Good inter-personal communication skills
- Good understanding and knowledge of Excel, Word, e-mail
- Good standard of numeracy
- Full UK driving licence
