What You'll Do

Wilson Golf are seeking an Area Sales Manager to represent the Wilson Golf brand in the Bavaria/South Germany territory. The successful applicant will report directly to the Market Manager, Central Europe and work closely with the Marketing Executive. This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Wilson Golf brand to its fullest.




As an Area Sales Manager, you will build partnerships with key specialty retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both the retailer and Wilson Golf, fulfilling the following tasks and responsibilities:



  • Successfully sell and promote Wilson Golf products and services, achieving sales targets to maximize the commercial potential of the territory to deliver sustainable distribution growth with trade partners.
  • Build strong joint business and consumer plan with our premium partners that deliver on key strategic objectives of Wilson Golf brand philosophy to maximize consumer experience at the specialty retailer and drive sell thru
  • Provide excellent service to Wilson accounts including merchandising, product/fitting training and relationship building.
  • Utilize Wilson Golf trade marketing / sell-through programs / Instore excellence
  • Train retail staff and managing / participating in consumer / demo events



What We're Looking For

This role requires strong knowledge of the golf industry, with a passion for the sport of golf, ideally with a business degree or similar qualification and 3+ years of experience in a similar hands-on sales role. Other requirements include:



  • Strong background in a similar B2B selling role with account management focus, preferably within the sports industry
  • Good understanding of IT systems, MS Office plus excel and analysis capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and solution-selling ability and managing objections
  • Excellent social skills
  • Living in South Germany / Bavaria
  • Willingness to travel with a valid driving license
