Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY

Serve as a liaison between event coordinator and group contact in order to coordinate tournament or group golf events. Maintain lines of communication with golf shop to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction. Communicate with the starter, golf services, and golf grounds regarding any changes to the tee sheet. Coordinate with golf grounds on cart rules, course setup, and maintenance practices. Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage. Provide directions to golfers to golf-related areas. Answer golfer questions about course. Provide emergency first aid as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of golf-related areas. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services. Order and stock supplies for guests. Provide training direction, encouragement, and motivation to golfers.

Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees; and serve as a departmental role model. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify and recommend new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Reach overhead and below the knees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Education: High School diploma or . equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1-year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
