About the Role
This is a full time permanent position, working a Tuesday to Saturday roster & available for an immediate start.
As the Senior member of our team, the Senior Golf Operations Assistant will assist in running competitions & events, processing membership applications, support guest needs with professionalism and warmth, and ensure an exceptional luxury experience for resort residents and public players alike.

About the Role

As the Senior member of our team, the Senior Golf Operations Assistant will assist in running competitions & events, processing membership applications, support guest needs with professionalism and warmth, and ensure an exceptional luxury experience for resort residents and public players alike.
Day to day duties include, but not limited to:
Assist with processing & administration of membership applications with MiClub;
Assist with the management of tee time reservations & enquiries via phone & email;
Assist with checking in golfers, maintaining a high level of attentive & professional guest service at all times;
Provide direction to Golf Operations team where required & assist with staff rostering;
Processing POS & eftpos transactions for play, retail sales, equipment hire and food & beverage sales;
Monitor pace of play and assist with on-course operations as needed;
Assist with the inventory management & stock take of golf equipment and supplies;
Operate & coordinate the golf cart fleet, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness;
Assist with event and tournament setup and execution;
Ensure professional presentation of golf carts in the staging areas for use by the golfers;
Light administrative duties - email enquiries, routine reporting etc.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a golf operations role;
Experience with POS (Swyftpos) & golf management software (MiClub);
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate essential;
Current C Class drivers licence essential;
Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette;
A true dedication to delivering exceptional customer service;
A self-motivated, team player able to work autonomously when required;
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability;
Available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods;
Excellent time management skills, including punctuality & reliability.
