Job Title: Senior Golf Course Design Associate or Civil Engineer

DMK Golf Design has an immediate opening for a Senior Design Associate or Civil engineer. This person will onboard and start working on high profile golf course design projects located in the United States and abroad. If you have the required skills and love golf, this could be a dream job.
David McLay Kidd (“DMK”) was born and raised in Scotland and is the son of a famous Scottish greenkeeper. 30 years ago, DMK was chosen to design and oversee construction of Bandon Dunes (the 1st course at Bandon Dunes Resort) on the coast of Oregon. Since then, dozens of high-profile golf courses have been built around the world. Like the founders of golf and the original Scottish golf architects, DMK keeps sustainability as a primary feature in all designs via a minimalistic style. Many of the courses designed by DMK don national and world rankings keeping him and the firm in a very elite class of golf course designers.
Role:
Your role will be to interact directly with DMK and the existing team to work on a healthy backlog of client projects. You will assist a small team of junior designers while conducting your own design work. The world is seeing a resurgence in the golf industry so the pace of work at DMK Golf Design will be fast.
Experience and knowledge:
· Undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related degree.
· Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a professional environment.
· Must be proficient in 3-D civil design concepts and practices.
· Must be proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD and using Civil 3D.
· Deep knowledge in grading, earthworks, and drainage design.
· Basic understanding of land development, entitlement and permitting processes.
· Interest in or ability to play golf.
Compensation:
$100,000+ and full benefits package.
