Midland Tractors is the Tasmanian Dealer for John Deere Agricultural Products, Silvan Spraying & Farming Equipment and Segway Power Sports. We service a diverse range of customers with quality, well renowned equipment and after sales support and service.

We are seeking the services of a self-motivated Sales Professional for our Golf and Commercial Mowing sector as well as residential mowers, compact tractors, quads and side-by-sides.

The position will be based out of our Longford Branch. Responsibilities include;

• 
  Actively pursuing new business opportunities whilst maintaining the current customer base
• 
  Maintaining a current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
• 
  Maintaining all customer information for sales management
• 
  Following a defined sales process
• 
  Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
• 
  Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• 
  Attending applicable sales training events / seminars
• 
  Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate for trading purposes

To be successful in this position, candidates are required to detail their experience by addressing the following selection criteria with their application;

• 
  Previous sales experience
• 
  Keen interest in the Golf & Commercial Mowing sector
• 
  Knowledge of agricultural equipment - Compact Tractors, Quads and Side-by-Sides
• 
  Excellent customer relationship skills
• 
  Ability to seek sales opportunities
• 
  Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM and Sales software
• 
  Motor vehicle licence is essential
