Full job description Private Golf Club has an Outside Services Attendant position opening, this position is temporary working 30-plus hours a week.
SUMMARY:
Provides bag/cart services to members and guests. Provides outstanding internal and external customer service to all employees, members, and guests of the La Jolla Country Club.
- Please note this is a Non-tipping position.
- Serves as a representative of the Club, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other staff, management, members, and guests.
- Compliance with all Club Safety Regulations and participation in ongoing Safety Seminars.
- Greets each member in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assists members and guests as they approach the bag storage area.
- Monitors bag drop area for new arrivals.
- Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside Golf Shop.
- Removes bags from Bag Storage Room and loads onto carts.
- Ensures that golf cart supplies (towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand) are replenished upon cart turnaround and that all pull/push carts have adequate supplies (towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand) before use by golfers.
- Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in Bag Storage Room.
- Tournament preparation.
- Cleans and repairs golf clubs.
- Adheres to the Club’s standards for the set-up of the driving range.
- Transports range balls to each end of the range and fill appropriate containers.
- Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on the range.
- Operates tractor and ball picker on the range to retrieve balls.
- Washes all range balls daily.
- Returns carts to cart shelter; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink can, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; washes carts with pressure cleaner; parks cart in the shelter and connects charger cable.
- Provide customer service and monitor ball levels and cleanliness of the entire practice facility (driving range/chipping and short game areas).
- Operate employee shuttle when needed.
- Follows all rules, policies, and procedures set forth by LJCC management.
- Other duties as assigned.
