Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club is a contemporary private golf club located on Victoria Road, West Ryde. With over 1200 members we are one of Sydney's more successful championship courses. We are currently undergoing a new phase of development with a new Management Team and fantastic potential for any new employees who wants to join our team.

On course we are seeking the services of a Golf Course Mechanic to join our team on a fulltime basis. The successful applicant will ideally be a qualified diesel mechanic and have petrol and small engine experience along with hydraulic systems knowledge, auto electric and broad diagnostic skills. Basic fabrication skills are a must, with knowledge of golf course equipment highly regarded.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Scheduling and servicing of all plant and equipment
• Ensuring all maintenance records are kept and up to date
• Routine preventative maintenance and safety checks for all plant and equipment
• Training and development for staff in machine operation
• Maintain the workshop and maintenance facility in a safe, clean and tidy manner
• Ensure all machinery is ready for daily operations including overseeing pre & post operational checklists
• Understand, comply and be pro-active with WH&S
• Assisting the Course Superintendent with the machinery replacement program
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Motivated with a can-do attitude

With working hours negotiable as an example your working week normally will be from 6am to 2pm and half day Wednesday this provides a perfect opportunity for work life balance that you may be after.
