SUMMARY:
The position of Maintenance Person is responsible for performing a wide range of simple to complex jobs at Peacock Gap that ensure the facilities are properly maintained and in optimum condition on an ongoing basis.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
  • $15.50-$18.90 per hour, based on relevent experience to the role. Full-time hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to conduct minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Perform painting, carpentry and masonry work where needed.
  • Have familiarity with the tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of kitchen, plumbing, electrical and Golf Course Equipment.
  • Perform tasks in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Maintains clean and safe work areas.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance on major equipment with logs noting service, for large pieces of equipment.
  • Communicates status of projects, fixes, work to the Course Superindendent, together with needed supplies.
  • Ensures that company and club standards of quality and service are met.
  • Is responsive to requests for repair.
  • Manages time effectively.
  • Other duties supporting the operation may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong and effective skills in performing repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Hands on experience in performing electrical and plumbing work.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in repairing and maintenance work.
  • Conversant with performing preventative maintenance to ensure breakdowns do not occur.
  • Investigate potential problems and manage solutions accordingly.
  • Has knowledge of the game of Golf.
  • Possesses efficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Possesses a professional appearance.
  • Possess solid time management skills.
  • Has the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
