Salary: $14.61 - $17.43 Hourly Location : Birnamwood Golf Course Burnsville, MN Job Type: Seasonal Job Number: 2024-00227 Department: Golf Course Opening Date: 02/16/2024 Closing Date: 6/28/2024 11:59 PM Central Position Details This position is responsible for providing customer service for golf patrons and/or the maintenance of the golf course itself
Responsibilities include accountability for the service and safety of Birnamwood patrons, care of the clubhouse, maintenance shop, and work on the golf course grounds
The Birnamwood Golf Course is a nine-hole, par 27 public golf course that is owned and operated by the City of Burnsville
This role is non-exempt (hourly) and has a starting wage of $14.61/hr
How you'll use your strengths every day The Seasonal Maintenance Golf Course values people and perspectives by: Provide a safe and enjoyable environment
Be courteous and sincere in all relations and matters dealing with the public
They are on the leading edge when they: Coordinate and implement program or special recreation activities
Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth
And they expect the best by: Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and speed of play
Operate mowers, weed whips and other power equipment needed to maintain the turf
What you'll bring to help you be successfulMust be 18 years of age or older by first day of work
Must possess a valid Driver's License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Minnesota
A background or interest in local government work serving the community
An interest in developing what you do best and a commitment to valuing each colleague for their unique perspectives
