Job Description: Housekeeping/ Golf Course Clubhouse *Job Summary:* Responsible for helping with the upkeep, cleanliness and organization of Club. _*Supervisory Responsibilities:*_ * None _*Duties/Responsibilities:*_ * Empties wastebaskets and trash areas * Cleans restrooms. * Wipes all windowsills, walls and light switches, mirrors, and windows. * Vacuums rugs, floors, hallways, and baseboards. * Dust all furniture and fixtures. * Checks lamps for burned-out light bulbs. * Checks heating and air conditioning unit for proper operation. * Restocks all stationery. * Cleans and sanitizes toilets. * Cleans walls, baseboards, and floor. * Washes, operates, dries, and folds laundry. * Folds and stores linen by type. * Stocks storage rooms. * Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager. _*Required Skills/Abilities:*_ * Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. * Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. * Ability to use hand tools and power tools & painting materials if required. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Works within OSHA requirements and applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs). * Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. _*Education and Experience:*_ * Related experience preferred. * On-the-job training offered. _*Physical Requirements:*_ * Prolonged periods standing and walking. * Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. * Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds at a time. * Ability to lift-up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing. * Use ladders when required.
