Job Title: Head Golf Professional
Company: Country Club of the North
Position Overview:
Country Club of the North is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head Golf Professional. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing remarkable member and guest experiences, overseeing tournament operations, delivering top-notch golf instruction, and demonstrating strong financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Service:
● Provide unparalleled customer service to club members and guests.
● Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all golf enthusiasts.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Detail Oriented:
● Execute and oversee daily golf operations with a keen eye for detail.
● Manage and maintain accurate player records, tournament scores, and other related data.
● Ensure the golf facility is impeccably presented and well-maintained at all times.
Tournament Operations:
● Plan, organize, and execute golf tournaments and events with precision.
● Coordinate with club management to develop and implement tournament schedules.
● Oversee tournament registration, scoring, and awards ceremonies.
Teaching:
● Provide high-quality golf instruction to players of all skill levels.
● Develop and implement instructional programs, clinics, and workshops.
● Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for members and guests.
● Conduct player development clinics as well as PGA Junior League.
Financial Acumen:
● Manage and optimize golf shop inventory, sales, and merchandising.
● Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue.
● Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Head Golf Professional or in a similar leadership role.
● PGA membership and relevant certifications.
● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
● Strong organizational and time management abilities.
● Passion for delivering exceptional golf experiences.
● Proficient in golf-related technologies and software.
