THE ROLE
Glacier Greens Golf Course is a beautifully manicured 18 Hole Championship course open year round to both CAF members and the public. Glacier Greens offers excellent facilities including a covered range and synthetic (Syn-lawn) tee range, a full service Pro Shop, a fully licensed restaurant with meeting and banquet facilities, and a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the 18th green.
As a Golf Course Worker you will work under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent and Golf Course Supervisor as part of the team maintaining and setting up the golf course each day by conducting a variety of landscape labour tasks and operating walking and riding golf course equipment.
We are looking for dynamic, independent and motivated individuals to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High School diploma AND some years of experience in landscaping
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Valid Driver’s Licence (BC), an asset
Experience
In landscaping or golf course maintenance
In operating specialized turf care equipment
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential, Bilingual an asset
Reading: Functional
Writing: None
Oral: Functional
