Golf Course Technician/Mechanic
The Royal Perth Golf Club is a prestigious institution with a rich history and commitment to maintaining a world class golf course.
We are seeking a talented Turf Technician/Mechanic to join our Agronomy team.
This position requires hands on, strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to maintaining and repairing a diverse range of machinery used for daily maintenance of the golf course. This position would be ideally suited to someone who is a skilled dedicated individual with a passion for mechanics and ready for that next opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel, petrol, 2 stroke engines as well as hydraulic and electrical motors.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment.
Collaborate with the agronomy team to identify equipment needs and address issues promptly.
Keep clear and accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
Order and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment components.
Work Health and Safety compliance and to maintain a safe working environment.
A willingness to learn new equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

A formal trade qualification in a mechanical field e.g. diesel, petrol, small motors or currently enrolled in a relevant Australian registered program.
Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of small engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills
