Palmer Coolum Resort is currently looking to hire a Spray Technician to join a dedicated and enthusiastic turf management team, Located near the heart of Coolum Beach.
We are in search of an individual who is self-driven, enthusiastic, and consistently punctual, with a practical approach to tasks.
Palmer Coolum Resort is a 18 hole facility, with 1ha of 328 couch greens and 16ha’s Wintergreen couch fairways & tees complexes.
Experience and Requirements
· Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
· Experience in all aspects of Golf Course maintenance.
· Have a general understanding of the game of Golf.
· Chemical accreditation.
· Familiarity with irrigation systems is beneficial, though not essential.
· Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards throughout all operations.
· Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals and commercial products.
· Stock take chemicals & fertilizer.
Hours
· Monday to Thursday 5:30am – 2:00pm.
· Friday 5:30am – 11:30am.
· Rostered weekend work one weekend out of 4, 5:30am to 9:30am Saturday/Sunday.
This position is a full-time employment opportunity.
