Are you passionate about irrigation tech, the golf industry and excel I n technical roles? We're looking for a skilled Golf and irrigation Service Technician to join our innovative team! This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of irrigation systems, in both commercial and golf.
Overview
The service tech role will work closely with the CPS team to support our clients. They will get on the job training and be sent to the Rain Bird factory to be certified by Rain Bird Golf. The service tech will work closely with the territory manager and support the inside sales operations. .They will coordinate to plan and execute the installation of products and support of services to our clients.
Basic requirements
Industry Knowledge
o Satellite/controller componentry, grounding, radiomast/towers and brackets.
o Map data collection and implementation into central control software.
o 2-wire communication, power, and other communication cabling for shorts.
What We Offer

Basic requirements
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record. A company vehicle will be provided.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
- Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to learn and comprehend new material.
- Assist showroom counter
Industry Knowledge
- Working knowledge of basic irrigation operations from hydraulics the electrical controls.
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles. For example, Ohms,, AC/DC power.
- Use and understand digital multi meters, amp meters, wire locators ground fault equipment, and other test equipment.
- Be able to or capable of learning to read an irrigation mechanical, irrigation, and other landscape designs/plans.
- Clean and maintain safe working conditions, vehicle maintenance and organization, and follow policy set-forth by management teams.
- Diagnose, repair, program and installation of central control components such as, but not limited to:
o Satellite/controller componentry, grounding, radiomast/towers and brackets.
o Map data collection and implementation into central control software.
o 2-wire communication, power, and other communication cabling for shorts.
- Build relationships with existing clients/contractors/consultants. Cultivate new leads and convert clients/consultants/contractors to CPS supporters.
- Promote CPS as the leader in golf course product knowledge and support and customer service.
- Follow instruction by management team to promote a safe, healthy, organized branch
