What's expected as our Course Superintendent?
- Management of all course and property maintenance including course irrigation.
- Implement renovation and upkeep plans across the Course.
- Management and control of pest and diseases, with plans in place for scheduled maintenance.
- Regular machinery maintenance and organising repairs and breakdown repairs.
- Ordering of all chemical, sand and fuels required/stock inventory management.
- Course preparation and schedule organisation for regular and competition play.
- Weekly Toolbox meetings and safety updates/training of staff required.
- Assisting in the development of and managing budgets for the golf course maintenance department.
- Implementing sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and promote conservation of natural resources.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental protection, water usage, pesticide application, and workplace safety.
- Interviewing and hiring team members, including assistant superintendents, equipment operators, and groundskeepers.
- Someone with a genuine interest in learning, teaching and career/personal growth.
- Being well-presented, as you will be the face of our business on site.

- Adhere to WHS&E policies and procedures and implements them as required.
- Someone with previous on the tools experience in the Golf Industry or Golf Course Management experience
- Have a Certificate III or Diploma in Sports Turf Management
- Minimum 3-year experience in a leadership role on a Golf Course
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and transport
- Chemical spraying certificate
- Strong work ethic & excellent attention to detail
- Experience and sound knowledge of irrigation, repairs, programming, and troubleshooting
- National Police Check or willing to obtain one at our expense
- Golf Course/Landscape Maintenance Leadership experience
