• You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • You are detailed orientated • You understand golf course maintenance equipment • You understand irrigation and equipment related • You possess a Valid Oregon Driver’s License • You are available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays What you'll do…• Directly oversee golf course maintenance operations, personally ensuring that the golf course is presented in the finest condition possible• Attend or host team meetings as needed to maintain open and honest lines of communication• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team, providing regular guidance and direction; prepare weekly work schedules and communicate daily assignments• Perform a daily inspection tour of the golf course, walking each green if possible• Manage and control budget expenditures• Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of all fertilizer and pesticide applications, including hours worked• Perform, or at least have a strong working knowledge of all course maintenance team member job duties • Develop detailed plans for future improvements to the golf course• Advise the Director of Golf and/or GM of any situations or conditions that may affect customer satisfaction and/or golf course quality• Participate in the interviewing, selection and on the job training of new employees• Oversee the career progression, learning and development of direct report team members• Remain abreast of industry trends and changes that may affect or enhance the offerings and/or profitability of golf operations and/or the resort Benefits& Extra Perks! • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance eligibility • 401(k) plan with Company match • Paid time off • Golf privileges • Discounts at Tetherow restaurants & Golf Shop • $5 Employee breakfast & lunch meals from The Row • Employee referral bonuses • Work in one of the most beautiful settings in Central Oregon!
