About Us
Set amongst 18 hectares of native trees you will find the Nedlands Golf Club, idyllically nestled between the Perth CBD, the Beach and the Swan River. A welcoming, relaxed and inclusive club, Nedlands is a private members 9 hole championship layout with 800 members, and around 35,000 rounds of golf played each year.
The Committee has recently taken the decision to bring the Course Maintenance Services back in house and we are now looking to build out our in-house team. At this stage we are looking to recruit
Reporting directly to the Course Superintendent and or the Assistant Course Superintendent, the successful applicant/s will possess and be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, people and leadership skills. The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is also very important.
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge on all aspects of turf management, horticulture, machinery, irrigation and have an understanding of the game of golf. The positions will be responsible for assisting all aspects of golf course maintenance, and at times be responsible for leading and motivating the team alongside both the Assistant and Course Superintendent.

- A Course Superintendent (please see separate advert)
- 2IC
- 2 support greenkeepers

Essential Duties
- Works with the Superintendent and other key staff members to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and all safety programs.
- Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures.
- Undertake daily maintenance duties along with other Course Maintenance staff.
- Relevant Turf Management qualifications or working towards them, apprentices are welcome to apply.
- The ability to work with and lead others in a team environment
- High level of integrity and dependability
- Golfing experience and knowledge will be helpful, but not mandatory
- The position is fulltime and requires ability to work weekends
- Remuneration will be set based on a competitive industry standard depending on candidates’ skills and experience
