Golf Course Superintendent – Lismore Workers Golf Club
Lismore Workers Golf club is a Par 70 18-hole country golf course situated on the far north coast of NSW, only 30 minutes inland from some of the most beautiful coastal areas in northern NSW. We are currently seeking a Superintendent to lead our staff maintenance crew for maintaining our golf course and clubhouse grounds.
The Superintendent will work with an experienced team to ensure the course is presented in the best possible condition. They will be very motivated with a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.

We are currently seeking a Superintendent to lead our staff maintenance crew for maintaining our golf course and clubhouse grounds.
The Superintendent will work with an experienced team to ensure the course is presented in the best possible condition. They will be very motivated with a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.
Duties:
- Oversees the care and maintenance of the turf, trees & gardens on the facility grounds
- Provides annual maintenance programs of the golf course
- Manages water usage & irrigation systems for greens, tees & fairways
- Provides technical, operational and safety training for employees
- Oversees, coordinates proper safe operation & maintenance of mechanical and power equipment
- Maintains records and completes required reporting
- Schedules maintenance practices
- Management and maintenance of warm season grasses in greens, fairways and roughs. Greens are 328 hybrid couch variety
- Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals & fertiliser products
- Ability to install & repair irrigation/ drainage systems
- Certificate III in Horticulture qualification (Greenkeeping)
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practice
- Chemical Spray certification & experience in applications
- Good record keeping skills
- Experience with irrigation repairs, scheduling and programming
- Ability to train & supervise staff in all aspects of golf course management
- Understanding of OH&S and environmental requirements of a golf course
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
