Murray Bridge Golf Club is an 18-hole country golf course situated in the Riverlands in South Australia, only 45 minutes down the freeway from Adelaide.
The club is in an exciting growth phase with two new holes constructed and in the establishment period with an expectation of use next Spring.
We are currently seeking a Superintendent to lead our staff maintenance crew for maintaining our golf course and clubhouse grounds.
The Superintendent will work to ensure the course is presented in the best possible condition. They will be very motivated with a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.

We are currently seeking a Superintendent to lead our staff maintenance crew for maintaining our golf course and clubhouse grounds.

Duties:
- Oversees the care and maintenance of the turf, trees & gardens on the course and clubhouse grounds
- Provides annual maintenance programs of the golf course
- Manages water usage & irrigation systems for greens, tees & fairways
- Oversees technical, operational and safety training for employees
- Oversees, coordinates proper safe operation & maintenance of mechanical and power equipment
- Maintains records and completes required reporting
- Schedules maintenance practices
- Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals & fertiliser products
- Ability to install & repair irrigation/ drainage systems
- Certificate III in Horticulture qualification (Greenkeeping)
- Capability to run a small dedicated team and volunteer workers
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practice
- Chemical Spray certification & experience in applications
- Good record keeping skills
- Experience with irrigation repairs, scheduling and programming
- Ability to train & supervise staff in all aspects of golf course management
- Understanding of WH&S and environmental requirements of a golf course
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
