Whitsunday Green Club is a rapidly growing golf facility that includes a 9-hole (18 tee) par 3, driving range and cafe in Cannon Valley, Whitsundays. The Club offers a relaxed and fun environment for both beginners and experienced golfers. Our membership is growing rapidly, and we have big plans!
We are currently seeking a golf professional or skilled enthusiast to manage and drive “all things Golf”.
The role is part time and includes general hospitality and service duties. There is potential for the role to become full time in future.
The ideal candidate will have experience and a willingness to support our members and visitors via.

- Course marshalling every Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Event and competition management, including promotions
- Drinks cart and on course service
- Handicap allocations & management
- Golf coaching if qualified
- Cafe service (food and beverages)
- Cleaning
- Stock control
- Current RSA certification
- Own transport and permanent local accommodation
- Fluent with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Sociable, kind, helpful and energetic disposition
- Professional phone manner and overall presentation
- Sound understanding of Golf Rules and Etiquette
- Sound understanding of Golf Handicap Formulas
- Willingness to support and engage in teamwork
- Hospitality or event management experience advantageous
