We are already making waves with the recent launch of our brand-new clubhouse, Pro Shop, 18-hole mini golf course and state-of-the-art golf simulators powered by Trackman, to accompany our 18 Hole Championship Course, and 9-hole Par-3 Course.
But that’s just the beginning; there’s plenty more on the horizon as we gear up to introduce a driving range, complete with Trackman technology.
About the Role & You :
Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic PGA member to join our team on a part-time basis in the role of Golf Services and Teaching Professional.
The ideal candidate will be available to work 20 25 hours per week across the Pro Shop and club fittings, with lessons taking place outside of rostered hours.
You will be a part of a friendly and supportive team, have opportunities for professional growth and development, and work in a picturesque environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
Your incentive structure will comprise a base rate + lesson commission + sales commission (on sales through fittings).
The final package will be negotiated based on the successful candidate’s level of experience.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
- Acting as the first point of contact for members, guests and visitors who visit, call and email the Pro Shop.
- Assist with member and visitor enquiries in relation to golf bookings, timesheet management, coaching services, equipment and retail enquiries, and club events.
- Conducting teaching services to elevate the skills of our valued members and guests
- Provide exceptional club fitting services to our members and guests, contributing to retail sales and offer expert advice on equipment repairs.
- Ensure lesson revenue is processed and redeemed in the POS system at the end of each lesson or day.
- Assist the Golf Operations Manager with necessary administrative set-up and preparation for Club events from time to time.
- Submit reports / reconciliations to relevant departments as required.
- Assist with all golf course directives and club regulations.
- Current PGA member (essential)
- Prior experience working in a golf shop having provided club fittings
- An understanding of core golf club operations and key golf related business drivers
- Experience using MiClub golf timesheet and competition software
- Strong retail and sales experience
- A high level of business acumen, integrity and professionalism
- Neat, tidy and professional personal presentation
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
