- A- G Sod Farms has been serving the golf course industry for over 50 years. We are looking to deepen our involvement and increase sales by adding a Sales Rep to serve the golf industry in Southern California.
- Must have Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent experience.
(Northern California will be covered by existing sales staff)
Job duties include:
- Developing contacts within industry groups and cultivating relationships with individual course personnel to identify opportunities to provide natural grass sales, installations and removal services.
- Interacting with GCSAA and GCBAA members and attending events.
- Surveying, quoting and following up on potential projects
- Overseeing installation and removal projects with assistance of operations personnel.
- Coordinating with General Manager and two Farm Managers regarding future projects and available sod inventory.
Qualifications:
- Contacts and experience in the golf course industry
- Some sales experience helpful
