Details - Hospitality, Sports & Leisure is seeking a Golf Sales Manager for Palmares Ocean Living & Golf in Lagos.




The Golf Sales Manager is responsible for driving all golf-related commercial revenue - green fees, golf packages, events, and travel trade partnerships - while ensuring that golf demand directly contributes to the resort’s overall performance.




Key Responsibilities:




• Develop and execute the annual golf sales strategy.

• Analyse KPIs, performance trends, and competitive benchmarks.

• Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and content.

• Prepare production reports and implement corrective actions when needed.

• Manage relationships with tour operators, DMCs, travel agencies, and hotel partners.

• Attend major industry trade shows and client events.

• Negotiate marketing agreements and follow up on partner sales performance.

• Maintain a strong focus on driving golf room nights by channelling business to the hotel and apartments and maximising contracted allotments.

• Act as a brand ambassador for the resort in all external interactions.

• Host site inspections, familiarisation trips, and VIP guests.

• Ensure all proposals, communications, and contracts reflect 5-star standards.

• Work closely with Golf Operations to guarantee a seamless experience for groups, partners.

• Ensure rate integrity and correct application of contracted terms.

• Proactively direct golf demand towards the hotel and apartments, ensuring the highest possible conversion of golf enquiries into room nights.




Key Qualifications:




• Minimum 3 years of experience in the golf industry (preferable).

• Experience in sales, travel trade, hospitality, or resort environments is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of golf market dynamics and customer expectations.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Strong relationship-building ability with partners and key accounts.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret commercial data.

• Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.

• Comfortable hosting guests and representing the resort professionally.

• Capacity for teamwork.

• Fluent English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage.
