Assists customers of the Golf Course
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Employees should consult with their manager individually for specific expectations.
Books tee times
Rent golf equipment
Assign golf carts and tee times
Sells shop merchandise
Opens, closes, and secures Pro Shop and carts
Keeps shelves stocked and tidy
Keeps work areas clean throughout the shop
Discusses merchandise and equipment ordering with management
Opens and closes cash register, cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits, and enters into the ledger
Assists all customers as necessary
Other duties to be assigned
*Additional duty for trained club fitters:
Oversee club fitting services in the golf shop

Must be customer service oriented
Golf knowledge is helpful.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical procedures
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
