Golf Retail Store (Sales Retail)
Full time and/or Part Time:
Mike's Golf Outlet in Hartford
We have a Golf Internet Business as well as a Retail Presence and specialize in selling mostly pre-owned golf clubs & components as well as New Apparel and accessories. We are a mulit-channel seller selling our golf items through various websites. We are a growing business with 30+ on staff and have grown our business year over year for the past 17 seasons.
We are looking for someone with experience in the golf industry that has exceptional interpersonal skills and has a passion for the game and the equipment. This would include all golf clubs, components, shaft companies and lines of apparel and of course the major golf club OEM's.
This position is for retail sales but we also have an ecommerce division of our business in the same warehouse.
Job Description and Requirements:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in retail sales or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability to work flexible hours
