Retail Golf - Sales
Golf Exchange is seeking customer-oriented golfers to join our team! We pride ourselves on hiring PROFFESIONAL people who share a PASSION for the sport that we love. You will have an opportunity to be a part of a growing, award winning and nationally recognized club fitter and golf retailer. Ideal candidates will be extremely goal oriented, be constant learners, work very hard, love what they do, and have fun doing it. You will work in a high‐energy environment of motivated professionals all eager to share their talent and experience.
You will be challenged but rewarded well for meeting these challenges. Golf Exchange is not looking for "average" candidates, but talented willing employees looking for a dream career. We operate our stores like friendly "mom and pop" type stores, and we need passionate golfers to help build our team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are customary for this position but are not to be construed as all‐inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and company needs.
Prior experience with golf equipment components and/or equipment fitting and modifications desired.
Prior experience with in-person sales desired.
Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays
Deep knowledge of golf equipment, components, and accessories
Previous Golf or Retail Experience of at least 1 year
Must be able to handle several tasks at one time

- Provide a high level of customer service
- Accountable for tracking sales and achieving sales targets
- Follow certain sales protocol
- Deliver a high level of club repair
- Work to become a Golf Exchange Certified Club Fitter
- Display and organize merchandise in an appealing manner
- Assist in physical inventory
- Adhere to the Sales Person’s Job Responsibility Checklist
- Report Directly to Store Manager
- Have a passion for selling.
- Take responsibility for their personal success.
- Enjoy interacting with customers on a daily basis.
- Want to be part of a fun/competitive environment.
- Can contribute to the success of the company with willingness, integrity and determination.
- Want to learn and be challenged.
- Enjoy earning money as a direct result of their performance.
