As a Golf Course Receptionist, you play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the golf course. Your friendly and professional demeanor sets the tone for patrons' experiences, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist golf course patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and tee-time bookings efficiently
- Monitor payments from customers arriving with tour operators
- Provide information about golf course policies, procedures, and services
- Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department, maintaining clear communication channels
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Supervise that system prices align with seasonal prices
- Manage the golf shop for equipment rentals and sales
- Conduct inventories of the Golf shop
- Collaborate in organizing and executing golf events and tournaments, ensuring a smooth experience for participants
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, contributing to a welcoming environment for patrons
- Handle the cleaning of equipment, including golf clubs and carts
- Participate in beverage sales, providing an additional service to customers
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and promptly resolve issues
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality or golf industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of golf terminology and basic course operations
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and basic office software
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
- Enthusiasm for golf and providing exceptional customer service
- Proficient in English and Spanish; German or any other language is a plus.
