Position Available
Overnight Golf Cart Roving Patrol Security Officer
Important Requirement
A valid Florida Class D Security License and a valid Driver's License are required for this position.
Full-Time Schedule (42 Hours Weekly)
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- Clean driving record (no moving violations within the last three years).
- Valid Florida Class D Security License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with report writing and documentation.
- Comfortable using technology, security systems, and surveillance software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to respond promptly and appropriately during emergencies.
Roving Patrol
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas using a golf cart.
- Inspect doors, gates, and common areas for security concerns.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor property activity and identify suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
- Document incidents and observations accurately in daily reports and logs.
- Report concerns promptly to supervisors and appropriate personnel.
- Verify and authorize the entry of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Enforce access control procedures and property policies.
- Respond quickly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
- Assist with evacuations and support emergency responders when necessary.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents, guests, and visitors.
- Address questions, concerns, and requests while maintaining security standards.
- Work closely with fellow security officers, supervisors, and law enforcement agencies.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
- Complete accurate and detailed reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
- Submit required documentation promptly and professionally.
