Full job descriptionThe Golf Club Operations, Range Assistant will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the proactive range and short game area.
Position Responsibilities
- Marshals the golf course to ensure pace of play standards are being met.
- Treats all members, guests, and staff with exceptional guest services
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned such as golf cart maintenance/cleaning.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- High School degree or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of golf course procedures
- Age 21, valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Present a positive, professional image.
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions;
- Follow safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Bilingual
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs.
- Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.
- This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements
