About UsBoomerang Farm Golf Course is a premier 9-hole golf destination nestled in the stunning Gold Coast Hinterland. Known for its rich history and unique charm, our course provides an exceptional golfing experience alongside a vibrant event and cultural scene. We are seeking a dynamic Pro Shop & Golf Course Manager to oversee the daily operations of both the pro shop and the course, ensuring high-quality service and smooth facility management.Role OverviewThe Pro Shop & Golf Course Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the golf course, including pro shop retail, golf operations, course maintenance coordination, staff management, and customer experience. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for golf.Key ResponsibilitiesPro Shop & Retail ManagementOversee all pro shop operations, including inventory management, sales, and merchandising.Provide excellent customer service, assisting members and guests with bookings, equipment, and apparel.Manage the point-of-sale system and financial transactions.Develop and implement strategies to maximize pro shop revenue.Golf Course OperationsOversee tee time bookings, pace of play, and golfer experience.Work closely with the superintendent to ensure course maintenance meets high standards.Manage golf cart fleet, including maintenance and availability.Coordinate with event planners for tournaments and special events.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Staff & AdministrationRecruit, train, and supervise pro shop staff, course marshals, and other golf-related employees.Develop work schedules and manage staff performance.Maintain strong relationships with club members, guests, and stakeholders.Track key performance metrics and provide reports to ownership.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in golf course management, pro shop management, or a similar leadership role.Strong knowledge of golf operations, rules, and industry trends.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Experience in retail management and customer service.Financial acumen, including budgeting, sales reporting, and cost control.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.BenefitsCompetitive salary package ($85,000 – $100,000 per annum).Opportunity to shape the future of a unique and historic golf course.Staff discounts and playing privileges.Work in a stunning, relaxed environment in the Gold Coast Hinterland.To ApplyIf you are a passionate and experienced golf professional looking to take on a leadership role, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now and become a key part of Boomerang Farm Golf Course’s future!#J-18808-Ljbffr
