Jack’s Point Golf Course is an acclaimed 18-hole championship course located near Queenstown. Consistently ranked among New Zealand’s top courses, Jack’s Point offers golfers an exceptional playing experience set against a spectacular natural backdrop overlooking Lake Wakatipu and nestled at the foot of the dramatic Remarkables mountain range. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Golf Operations Assistants for the upcoming season. This varied role combines golf shop operations and on-course guest services, providing opportunities to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment. About the Role * Greet and assist golfers upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. * Deliver outstanding customer service in the golf shop, managing bookings, retail sales, and payment processing. * Assist golfers with golf carts and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of carts, trundlers, and rental gear. * Ensure driving range and outdoor staging areas remain tidy, organised, and stocked. * Act as a Starter or Marshal when required, managing pace-of-play and providing course guidance to players. * Support event coordination, tournament setups, and general operations. * Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage, Course Maintenance, and Jack’s Point Residents & Owners Association teams. About You * Friendly and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. * Physically fit, comfortable working outdoors, and able to lift golf equipment. * Well-presented, dependable, and proactive in a team setting. * Flexible regarding working hours, including weekends and early morning shifts. * Available from late September through April/May 2026.
