Margaret River Golf Club is an easy 7 kilometres drive from the centre of town. The challenging par 72 (par 73 for women) course is one of Western Australia’s most highly regarded country courses and would be a highlight of any golfing tour of the South West.
The course is set on 65 hectares of original and natural bushland near the mouth of the Margaret River and winds its way up and down the slopes of the coastal ridge. This spectacular setting is complemented by an abundance of flora and fauna, native and local trees.
The Club is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join the team in a new exciting role within the golf admin and team.
The applicant must be customer service focused in addition to being well presented, honest and reliable, organised, self-motivated with a good work ethic and has a willingness to learn, and display good communication skills.

Responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional service to all Members and Visitors
- Assisting club management with Membership enquiries and retention
- Collection of all competition and green fees and reconciling daily accounts
- Hiring, cleaning and maintaining motorised golf carts
- Managing Driving Range Activity – new driving range under construction
- Attending meetings with the Golf Management Committee
- Monitoring course use by advising of local rules, course repair, sand bucket use etc
- Admin duties including but not limited to banking, replying to general inquiries, invoicing and processing stock etc
The successful candidates needs to possess the following:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- RSA Certificate required - Approved Manager Card preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer and member awareness at all times
- Attention to detail
- Flexible in working day, night & weekend shifts as the Clubhouse is open every weekend
- Similar experience preferred but not essential.
