Mt Derrimut Pro Shop is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated golf services assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will be prepared to commit to ongoing improvement, excellence and to assist the golf services team in our daily golfing operations and retail shop.
The successful candidate will report to the Head Professional and Golf Shop Manager who will assist with the ongoing development of the golf services operation within a supportive and driven team.
Mt Derrimut G.C is located in Derrimut 20min from Melbourne. With over 600 golf members and having a solid amount of social play, the Club is highly regarded for golf, functions, clubhouse and social activities.
If you are the successful candidate, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Golf shop retail sales and merchandising
• Daily administration of competitions, time sheets and results
• Maintaining knowledge of upcoming golfing fixtures and services in order to provide accurate information to members and visitors
• Stocking and cleaning the shop floor facilities daily
• Performing outside duties as required, such as assisting with the cart fleet and driving range.
To be successful in obtaining this role you will need the following:
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Flexibility to work all days of the week
• A friendly, outgoing personality with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Understanding of MiClub software is desirable
