Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all the golf course maintenance equipment that include the following:
- Mowing equipment; riding and waking, large and small, diesel and gas, sharpening
- Transportation; electric, gas and diesel carts. pickup trucks
- Large equipment; Backhoe and tractors
- Specialized golf course equipment; rollers, blowers, topdressers, aerators, sod cutters, etc
- Small stuff: hand mowers, weed eaters, backpack blowers, edgers, etc.
- Sharpening and adjusting of mowing equipment. (don't fret about this one. we will teach you this!)
- Design and implement a preventative maintenance program.
- Record keeping for everything listed above.
- Some training of staff on proper equipment operation.
Qualifications
You need to be good at the following:
- Diagnostics and repair of gas and diesel engines both large and small
- Good at diagnosing and repairing anything and everything.
- Basic computer skills for parts ordering and recording keeping.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and staff.
