Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum of two (2) years experience managing or directing the activities of a golf course. A four (4) year college degree in a business related field maybe substituted for one (1) year of experience.

2. Must be a PGA member class "A" in good standing.

Best Qualified:
1. Possess at least five (5) years Supervisory Experience in a Golf facility that includes a food and beverage operation.
2. Possess a current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
3. Possess a current ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
4. Possess experience developing long-term planning calendars including planning for capitol purchases and minor construction (CPMC) requirements.

Duties
- Manages, plans, and directs the daily operations of a golf course facility to include golf course maintenance.
- Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
- Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies.
- Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives.
- As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors including other PGA Professionals.
- Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
- Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.
- Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plan and operating budgets to include Capital Purchase and Minor Construction.
- Prepares financial and operational briefings as required. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity.
Conditions of Employment

- Exposed to dirt and disagreeable odors, heat produced from commercial cooking equipment, and to skin irritations from strong cleaning solutions.
- Applicant will be working primarily at a Business Operations Division Facility (Silver Wings Golf Club), however may be required to complete additional indoor and outdoor tasks including supporting Army Community Events.
- Must complete Team Member Orientation with the first 30 days of employment.
- Must be a PGA member class "A" in good standing.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain an Alcohol Service Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
- Incumbent is required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but are not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children’s Fest, and Winterfest.
