Big Swing Golf, the indoor golf entertainment venue is looking for a suitably qualified Manager to build and drive the success of its Hoppers Crossing venue.
We have 23 venues around Australia and aim to provide a fun social environment for our guests to have fun. We have a small lounge, bar, as well as ‘Full Swing’ golf & sports simulators. Our guests can enjoy a casual round of golf with friends, participate in our BSG League, host a function, practice their golf swing, or play any of our 13 simulated sports.

This role is available for either a full-time or part-time position and applicants must be willing to perform work in the evenings. There may be occasions where some work is required on the weekends however this will be discussed at the appropriate time. We encourage anyone who loves golf as much as we do to apply.

We have 23 venues around Australia and aim to provide a fun social environment for our guests to have fun. We have a small lounge, bar, as well as ‘Full Swing’ golf & sports simulators. Our guests can enjoy a casual round of golf with friends, participate in our BSG League, host a function, practice their golf swing, or play any of our 13 simulated sports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running of the Golf Entertainment Venue
- Perform the role of Big Swing Golf Host, specifically setting guests up in the simulators and engaging in friendly chat/ banter with patrons and assisting guests to enjoy everything Big Swing Golf has to offer.
- Manage bookings for sim hire, competitions, and functions.
- Organize functions.
- Maintain a high level of social media interaction.
- Execute all Head Office sales and marketing programs.
- Grow the business and drive revenue
- Grow the membership database
- Promote sponsorships / partnerships within the local community
- Bartending, and serving drinks to guests at their booth. Experience here is highly preferred.
- Coordinating hot food, prepared by external suppliers.
- Keep the venue & bar area’s clean and neatly presented.
- Administration of our BSG League competition with a high attention to detail
- Simulator maintenance & troubleshooting (training provided)
- Monthly & annual KPI based additional bonus schemes.
- Organise a variety of lesson and coaching programs for all player types.
- Source lesson candidates from DG retail and community.
- Monitor/ maintain inventory stocktakes
- Assistance in Drummond Golf as required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Self-motivation and the desire to go the extra mile to be successful
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work without direct supervision
- A self-awareness of attitude and empathy
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Has a current RSA (or willing to secure one)
- Ability to bend and restock supplies
