About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at the Yamba Golf and Country Club in Yamba, NSW. As the Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our prestigious golf club. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall success of our club.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the daily operations of the golf club, including managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service
- Handling customer inquiries, bookings, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- daily supervising and scheduling of staff to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient operations
- Monitoring and maintaining the clubhouse, and other facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to improve club operations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Providing leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Experience with Gaming, TAB & Keno operations
- Hold or is willing to obtain all relevant certificates and accreditations
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or golf industry
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle various customer inquiries and requests effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology to manage club operations
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in the hospitality & gaming industry
- A passion for the golf industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests
