The Golf Club Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Clubhouse, reporting to and collaborating directly with the Board of Directors.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the daily operations of the Club - including overseeing front of house staff, grounds, events and functions, stock control, etc; financial management and reporting;
- Effectively rostering and delegating to staff
- Preparing and delivering reports on the Club's operations to the Board of Directors, including gaming and financial results
- Providing support with PR, Marketing and Grant writing tasks
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Ability to multi task and prioritise effectively
- Tertiary qualifications in Club Management or Business Management OR relevant experience in all aspects of Club operation, including finance, gaming, personnel, event planning and delivery, and food and beverage
- Experience with and good working knowledge of compliance and corporate governance
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Working knowledge of industry benchmarks and how to achieve them
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, manage and grow a multi-disciplined team.
- Ability to forecast and adapt to changing trading outcomes
