Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and topdressing to keep fairways, greens, and roughs in excellent condition
- Maintain landscaping features including flower beds, trees, shrubs, and decorative elements to enhance visual appeal
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks like trimming, pruning, planting, and installing irrigation systems
- Conduct regular irrigation system checks and adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules and prevent water waste
- Assist with general maintenance activities including repairing equipment, replacing turf, and managing drainage systems
- Support seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, or landscape renovations to improve course quality
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling chemicals, operating machinery, or working around other team members
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting is a plus (= more money per hour)
- Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and hand tools with safety awareness
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles related to turfgrass management and landscaping practices
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative work environments
- Valid driver’s license required for equipment transportation or course mobility
- Golf Course Maintenance experience 1-2 years preferred.
- Irrigation systems experience 1 year preferred.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
